This year’s Championship will be contested at Turnberry Resort in Turnberry Scotland. In 1977, Nicklaus and Watson went head to head in for 36 holes in a duel that has gone down in golf lore, with Watson’s 65 – 65 edging Nicklaus’ 65 – 66 by one stroke. This package will include one (1) VIP credential for the entire week of The Senior British Open.

You will arrive in Prestwick at approximately 2:00 AM local time. (Remember, that’s only 9:00 PM EST.))

You will have access to 18 and sometime 36 holes of golf on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Golf courses being considered are as follows:

Prestwick Golf Club: Designed by Old Tom Morris and site of first British Open in 1860

Glasgow Gailes: According to Sandy Lyle, "one of the world's truly great tests of links golf.

Gleneagles: Finest resort in Scotland

Irvine: A traditional links course bordered by gorse and heather.

Kilmarnock: A British Open final qualifying venue

Machrie: According to James Finegan, "magnificent golfing country...within this magical landscape are numerous natural green sites, amphitheatres, punch bowls, etc."

Machrihanish: Described by Old Tom Morris as "specifically designed by the Almighty for playing golf."

Portpatrick: Clifftop overlooking the North Channel to Ireland.

Powfoot: Panoramic views and a number of distinctive features.

Western Gailes: A true test of links golf. One of the best.

Special Activities
for Your Spouse

Maybe it will be you and some buddies, or maybe your wife would love to come, but isn’t interested in playing quite as much golf as you are. Maybe she doesn't want to play golf at all.

Well don’t worry, we will fill her days with tours of historic castles, gardens, museums and the beautiful Scottish scenery. There will be an entire itinerary built just for these spouses with transportation, guides, etc.

Four-Star Accomodations

One thing we know about southwestern Scotland during major events such as The British Open and The Senior British Open is that housing options are limited to nonexistent.

For that reason, we have already blocked rooms (two adults per room) at the four-star Marine Hotel which overlooks the 18th hole at Royal Troon, and the four-star Fairfield House Hotel on the coast. Accommodations include an indoor pool, a salon and spa, great dining and an historic lounge to reminisce over the experiences of the day. Breakfast is also included each morning.

No trip to Scotland is complete without visiting the local pubs and taverns for a pint of ale or Scottish whiskey!

We are working with the locals to create a great night time experience to get the full flavor of Scotland.

Close your eyes and envision it. A round of golf at a local historic links layout followed by a couple of pints as you relive your round with your buddies (or your spouse) blow by blow!

Ground Transportation

All transportation will be covered with chartered buses for all golfers and site seers. Beverages and snacks will be available at all times!
